The Foundry Art Centre is a dynamic, interactive interdisciplinary arts center dedicated to the creation and presentation of contemporary visual and performing arts. Featuring a Smithsonian-caliber gallery, the Foundry hosts national and international juried fine art exhibitions and curated traveling exhibitions. The Foundry, once a site for building and testing railcars, has always been a place for hands-on work. Today, more than 20 artists have studio galleries, where visitors can watch as they create paintings, pottery, jewelry, digital art, and sculpture, and they can buy art directly from the artists.
"View: New Ceramics"
Rebus Works Gallery in Raleigh will be carrying three work in an exhibit entitled "View: New Ceramics."
Featured works are influenced by landscape (urban, suburban, or rural). The exhibition will open on August 7 and continue through September 25.Rebus Works is a small gallery in Raleigh, North Carolina, and was established in 2003. It is operated by artists for artists, and exhibitions demonstrate a commitment to innovative works of fine art and high craft, presenting both local and national artists.
Handcrafted Juried Exhibition
The Rockymount Art Center hosed this Years "Handcrafted Exhibit" and I won 3rd Place for "Green Sky."
On another note, my wife took 1st place for her "Poppy Ring and Box" metalwork.
Rocky Mount Art Center's 51 Annual Juried Art Exhibition
Outside of My Bedroom Window was accepted in the show at The Arts Center at the Imperial Center in Rocky Mount, NC.
The work will be on display from May 24th until September 14th, 2008.
The reception will be on Friday, June 6th from 7pm until 9pm.*I received an Award of Merit for this vessel.*
10 Years of City Art
This show is the tenth anniversary of City Art Gallery in Greenville, NC.
